I have retightened it three times and it s still coming loose.
I had lots of fun getting the tub nut off and now well i just can t seem to make the dang tub budge.
Off of the rusted corroded drive block and shaft.
For easy removal use tub nut wrench ap2614008 wh2x1193 ap2045284 made by ge.
I also have a wrench that would fit but the wrench is too long to fit.
I knew the machine had some serious rust damage the lip of the inner tub is shot and i had to burn the flipping agitator off the drive post.
What i have used so far are channel lock pliers and a hammer to hit the pliers with but the nut will not budge.
The hard part is getting the tub up and out.
Lbs if the hub nut is removed it must be tightened to 150 ft.
I just replaced the tub barring seal flat washier split ring and a new tub nut.

Lbs if the hub nut wrench pn wx5x1325 is used to tighten the hub nut the wrench must be struck.
Getting the spanner nut off is only step 1.
Hub nut securing the tub is made of stainless steel and must be torqued to 150 ft.
